I don't think it's ever going to happen, but I would love to read what Lynn Jennings has to say about her life and her career. And she's a great writer.

Not exactly the same but I noticed this morning that Jackie Joyner-Kersee just published a children’s book. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cp_w_7msUZc/

Alysia Montaño should write a memoir! I was lucky to meet Alysia at both Alison and Lauren's book launches in the Bay area and I told her she should write one. Her response was "it's a lot of work".

I know she’s already written a book, but I’d love to see Alysia Montaño write a memoir, not only because I’m sure there’s so much to her story that we don’t know, but also because she’s so funny. Another is Brenda Martinez because she does such few interviews (she’s turned me down before) and I know she’s got a great story to tell, too.

Both of those would be fantastic. (In all of their free time 😀)

Cheryl Treworgy’s story absolutely deserves a good long book. So much in there beyond the groundbreaking and glass ceiling shattering things that she did that readers could learn from. Also Tianna Bartoletta. I would definitely read her book.

Beyond that I don’t feel like I know who has a story I want to hear because they aren’t out there yet to know but. I want to hear the stories from those who finish tenth or just barely miss qualifying to the final. You don’t have to win everything or be a long distance runner to qualify as interesting or for your story to be worth telling. None of this “I’m not fast enough to write a book” junk if you have a story to tell and also we don’t need books about champions just because they win if they don’t have much of a story to tell. (Ok. I believe everyone has a story to tell. But they don’t all require books. )

I love that Alison Desir has garnered an audience comparable to the Lauren Freshman’s of this world. I want more of that!

To much emphasis road, marathon, long long dull distance; too much us African athletes. What about Laura Muir, Mageean, Ireland, Kanstance Klaustauoher, Poland, what about Jewly Hofgkins? Jemma Reekie, Jess Hull, GabriellaStafforde and sister, new worlds? set record.

I find you narrow, focused only it seems on distances you or your editors prefer

What anout 2 world records afmke Boll?prefer, alas alas, alas
