I wonder (worry really) about the impact of NILs on these issues. With the intense push to put so much of their young lives online (and to be compared, scrutinized, and commented on) are we turning towards an even more risky time for young runners?
Just to say WhatsApp does save photos and video to your phone automatically (unless you do something to the settings) & sometimes I'm like wtf is this random photo of someone I don't know, and it's from some group chat I forgot about from years earlier.
Not that I think it wasn't all very suspicious and her explanations highly unlikely and the ban appropriate, but just to say that is a feature of WhatsApp.
My Q: Did she turn over her phone? There's no way they could have forced her to?

As far as your question, this is what it says in the report: "AIU representatives also issued the Athlete in-person on 16 April 2025 with a Demand in accordance with Rule 5.7.4, inter alia, to provide her Electronic Devices to the AIU for inspection, extraction, copying and downloading."
