I wish you could see the smiles on everyone’s faces when we see the newsletter in our inboxes this morning!

On the flip side, I’m sorry that among so many other things you have had to experience that frustration that comes with trying to move accounts into your name. Been there, done that, wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

It was so nice to read the newsletter this morning. Hoping it can be a place of comfort and relief from all you are navigating. Thinking of you and your family ❤️

Just wanted to confirm “this newsletter still serves a purpose.” A day after getting to experience One of Us Bar (San Diego bar dedicated to women’s sports) I found myself uninspired, fed up, and unsubscribing from the male-focused newsletter from the NY Times, The Athletic, and immediately seeking out your coverage. Thank you and continuing to wish you peace in this moment.

Much love to you. I've been there (6 1/2 years ago). One has to experience that kind of loss to understand that you are not really "okay" but there is no choice but to keep moving. Hang in there.

FWIW, it was a delight to see this in my inbox(es, lol) this morning!! I can only imagine all of the Life Admin, mixed in with grief, clouding your days and weeks. And it felt good to get to read a little update from your end, mixed with your usual women's running recaps!

Reading this was amazing. I enjoyed the catching up in the running world but the description of your journey- I had every emotion. All I could think of was how many people will remember this part when they experience loss or disruption (we all inevitably do). Our culture tells us we should be capable of everything, if you follow the rules and have knowledge, it will work. Its not true. Its SO helpful to see a competent woman speak to the reality.

Loved seeing this land in my inbox this morning! Just know you have the support of this community always, whether the newsletter is here every Monday at 6am or the occasional surprise drop. Thinking of you all as you continue to move in this incredibly difficult part.

I can't imagine what you're going through. Might I suggest you journal a little bit, day to day, about how your life is evolving? Because down the road, I suspect you have a powerful memoir to write. Best wishes to you.
